8th Grade raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Series campaign is working with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research.  They are saving lives of blood cancer patients not someday but today.

Our classroom has signed on to raise money and help LLS in the fight against blood cancer.  It is our fight.

What’s new in 2016-2017

Well, it appears that I will be taking on a bit of a new role this year. I will be the 8th grade homeroom teacher and teaching middle school Social Studies, as well as, 6th & 8th grade Science. I have passed my computer class onto Mr. Pollock and wish him luck in his new position! Speaking of new positions.. I’d also like to welcome our new principal, Dr. Zetty!

I’ll have some growing and adjusting to do, but I’m looking forward to it! I will still will retain some of my administrative duties. Here’s to an amazing 2016-2017 school year!

There are quite a few changes this year…

…and I’ll leave a lot of it for you to discover. I will be teaching PK-8th grade computers and 8th grade science. There are some other things that I could end up teaching throughout the year, but let’s see what happens. PJAS is upon you 7th & 8th Graders! Are you ready?

Volunteers are always needed at the St. Sebastian Regional School to help it run smoothly. Lunchroom helpers, playground supervisors, chaperones and party helpers are just some of the ways that parents can help at the school. Contact the office or classroom teachers to learn about other opportunities. Starting July 1, 2015, ALL volunteers are required to have a full set of the required clearances. This includes lunch volunteers, homeroom parents, etc.

On June 10, 2015, Governor Wolf announced price reductions for the PA Child Abuse History and PA Criminal History clearances.

Some say it is and should have never been demoted. What do you think?
